Today was the day Kaden's volleyball ended early and our school had opening program so I had to stay late....of course. Kaden texted me this:

I guess he's adding his twist to our Fall decorating. (Today's text reminded me of this post)

Although Princeton looked like an angel sleeping with Kezia yesterday, he is quite the trouble maker...today's adventure included stepping on the dishwasher and getting sauce on his paws...prompting a full washing by Kiandra and Kezia and he spent the whole time hanging his head in shame.

It was a rare meal with all of us around the table:

....what is not shown is the late hour we dined! (10:15pm) Kezia babysat after school and went straight from there to help out at kids club. Conrad picked her up when it ended and then drove to pick up Kiandra at her evening class which ended at 9:00. When they arrived home they started making supper. Kaden had a volleyball practice from 7:30-9:30 and we stayed out at the other end because it didn't pay to come home in between. When we finally all arrived home to eat it was 10:15pm!

We still haven't found a new light fixture for above our dining table but these lamps from Costco are brightening up the living room!

Eating by candlelight...not because of a special occasion but because the light fixture might need to be replaced because it popped and started smoking the last time we flipped the switch.

Doesn't feel like summer until I've painted something...
