We added these 2 feet to our school staff family when we showered a new mom (and former teacher for all three of my kids) and her new son with gifts and snuggles.

That time I looked at the clock in my classroom at my school during afternoon recess and I wished I could be a fly on the wall in Starbucks at the university....

That time I helped Kiandra fill our scholarship applications and when I noticed the spot for the parent/guardian signature and asked if she wanted me to sign it...she said "no, I can just sign it" and I realized she was right....she doesn't need an adult's signature anymore....she IS an adult. *ack!*

I stretched my comfort zone today as I did a bit of co-teaching (a principal ordered endeavour) and began the first class of a series of lessons on poetry with the Grade 2 teacher.

It was super exciting for me to be invited along when Kezia took her friend, Katrine, out for her birthday to see Big Hero 6. I have to say that it's a pretty exciting stage when I get to hang out with my daughter with my friends (like when Kezia came to the States on NYE) and now being asked to hang out with her and her friend.
