Kaden and his friend Jen attend their high school's production of West Side Story this evening. It worked out perfectly for me because I had to stay at that end of the city for our school's concert anyway so it wasn't even an extra trip to go back and get him. Jen's family invited us for supper and then her Dad drove them to the musical and I drove her brother to our school concert. I got to be the chauffeur to drive Jen home after the musical ended.

The girls were absolutely giddy this morning as the high anticipated high school spirit week began. Day 1 is colour day and it was "welcome to blue country" as the Grade 12s decorated the school in blue. Grade 10s didn't put up any decorations but won the dressing up part with the most participants. The girls love everything about spirit week and didn't even mind when I asked for them to send me a picture of them all dressed up.
