Kaden and his friend Jen attend their high school's production of West Side Story this evening. It worked out perfectly for me because I had to stay at that end of the city for our school's concert anyway so it wasn't even an extra trip to go back and get him. Jen's family invited us for supper and then her Dad drove them to the musical and I drove her brother to our school concert. I got to be the chauffeur to drive Jen home after the musical ended.

Kaden had an 8:00pm volleyball game today so he decided to come by to his old school to help out with the middle school volleyball practice.

Kaden had his first Volleyball try-outs yesterday after school and today was round 2. He's really hoping to make the Junior Varsity team.

I'm so thankful for the friends that Kezia has made through her involvement in soccer. I snapped this quick photo as Kezia's teammate greeted her with an enthusiastic hello and a sidehug walk to the field.

Usually Kaden practically begs for Conrad to pick him up when we have early dismissal staff meeting because he doesn't like to wait around at school for me. Today, however, he told Conrad not to pick him up in favour of hanging out with some friends and I ended up waiting for him. (You can see the faint figures of Kaden and 2 of his friends he stayed with after school in the mirror walking towards me).
